Hi, my name is Pixie and I’m now a special elf... an “Angel Elf”
I’m leaving a GOLDEN Legacy Here is my story:
I was born on October 13, 2007 in Alberta, Canada but it wasn’t until August 2011 when I was almost 4 years old that I came to live with my “fur-ever” parents in London, Ontario. I was in rough shape when I came and was very weak and sick and couldn’t walk very far at all. My parents took me to the doctor and I had to have a BIG surgery to save my life. It worked...phew eh?|
After the surgery life got a lot better for me. I had a big sister, Jessica and I LOVED going on walks with her. Well...most of the time I did. I didn’t enjoy the snow too much because it was usually deeper than I was tall. Being short has it’s challenges. I loved to play with my toys and REALLY loved going in the car just like my sister Jessica.
I made a ton of friends out walking and everyone seemed to love me. I loved them too and I REALLY loved meeting other dogs and the BIGGER the better. They were always nice to me. Mom usually took us to the park to walk...likely because there was not as much raccoon poop there to roll in...Jessica’s fault...just sayin’.
On April 2, 2018 I guess my work on earth was done as I got called to Rainbow Bridge. To my surprise and happiness, my sister Jessica was there to greet me along with a bunch of the GOADogs. It was a PAW-TY!
I know my parents missed me on earth because I made a HUGE impact on their lives, just like Jessica did, but I hope they will feel warm and fuzzy when they remember my GOLDEN Legacy. I was an ELF in this campaign back when I lived on earth and I’m still an ELF today, only now I get to be an “Angel Elf”. I’m proud of my new gold hat and my GOLDEN Legacy.
I may not be here in body any longer but I’m still here in SPIRIT...CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!
Will you make a donation in my memory or in memory of a special pet who has touched your life? It would mean a lot to me, to my family, to the GOADogs and especially to someone who needs them!
PS. There are TONS of BIG dogs here...I’m in heaven. Life is GRAND!
